The Clooney-Pitt duo reforms
After a very short first teaser, here is the detective comedy Wolves is generously revealed in its trailer (video at the top of the article). After having filled the pockets of Disney, those of Tom Holland and his, in passing, by producing the recent trilogy SpidermanJon Watts gives himself a welcome break with this project of a more reasonable caliber and anchored in the comic book register, carried out by a prestigious duo that is aging but still works perfectly: Brad Pitt AND George Clooney.
Wolves is a comedy based on the clown duo formed by two male Hollywood stars, and in these images we see that Amy Ryan and Austin Abrams also have their part to play. Another actress was also announced in the casting: Poorna Jagannathan, who we imagine is pulling the strings of the plot in the shadows. A plot that tells how two “cleaners” find themselves forced to carry out a mission together. A mission that seems simple at first: clean up the crime scene and get rid of a body -, but which will get complicated when the two men discover a significant quantity of drugs…
Naturally, these two lone wolves do not get along, and the comic character of this play seems to rely mainly on their forced association. Brad Pitt and George Clooney know each other very well, both have demonstrated their great talent with prestigious filmographies, and we can therefore move forward without too many risks that their meeting in Wolves you should reserve some delicious moments of comedy.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt are teaming up with Apple Studios to produce Wolfs through their respective production companies, Smokehouse Pictures and Plan B Entertainment. Wolves is expected in French cinemas September 18, 2024. At the end of its run in cinemas, it will then land on Apple TV+.
