Last night, broadcast on France 2 Invisible wounds, a captivating TV movie that was a huge hit with audiences. Directed by Sarah Marx, this psychological thriller addresses the theme of moral harassment within couples and those attracted to them more than three million viewerspositioning itself well above the prime time audience.

Invisible wounds tells the story of Camille, a missing woman whose fate remains uncertain: murder, suicide or escape? Two parallel investigations take place: one, official, by a police captain, and the other, intimate, by Marion, Camille’s best friend and sister of her husband Raphaël.

As the investigation progresses, Marion finds out the insidious and destructive psychological influence that Camille suffered within her relationship, revealing an invisible but devastating violence.

The actors’ performances, particularly that of Marie Denarnaud (Marion), were praised for their accuracy and intensity.

The TV movie is an adaptation of the live action The wounds of silence by Natacha Calestrémé published in 2018.
