Robert Sheehaninterpreter of Klaus Hargreeves in the series, spoke to CinemaBlend about how the character, who has powers to communicate with the dead and use spirits as weapons, should react to losing his abilities.
“I suppose I was always secretly looking forward to a possible moment when the team umbrella lose the powers of, you know, super glitches,” said Sheehan in the interview. “So I was very pleased. It’s the ideal kind of fish-out-of-water plot, isn’t it? When you set up these adults who, forever, were made to be very capable superheroes.”
“So the most interesting theatrical idea is to subvert that notion, and so take them out of all that, and see what they are without it,” the actor continued. “I really hope that without it, Klaus be an absolute mess. I would like to see this. Just completely incapable of being a normal person. That’s really all I want.”
This will keep me very entertained for another season of this show. And after that, who knows? Who knows how the plot will unfold?

The artist’s participation takes place in “Kugelblitz,” fourth episode of the third year of the series based on the eponymous comics by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. Although, Renner does not appear as an actor, but as a singer – in a rather melancholy cover of “The House of the Rising Sun,” of The Animals.
The context of singing Jeremy Renner is quite tragic for the characters of Umbrella Academy. After the first season, the brothers traveled back in time to the 1960s. One of them, viktor (Elliot Page), fell in love with a woman named Sissy Cooper (Marin Ireland). He also approached the son of Sissy, Harlanand even saved the boy’s life by transferring the powers.
Because of this, Harlan came to have great abilities that he couldn’t control, and forced him and his mother to lead a nomadic lifestyle after viktor go back to the future. After Sissy die of cancer in the third, the powers of Harlanplayed by Callum Keith Rennie in the adult version, they explode and kill several people, such as the mothers of the members of the Umbrella Academy.
