Created in 1997, South Park had 26 seasons, with 328 episodes in total, and has already been confirmed for production up to the 30th season.

One of the longest-running and most controversial animations Hollywood, South Park has 26 seasons (and is confirmed to have up to the 30th), but the creators, Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Brian Gradenthey don’t like everything they’ve done over the 27 years they’ve been on the air.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Parker commented on how there is a period of the animated series that he would like to erase from his memory. “If I had to permanently erase anything from the library, it would be basically anything before season four,” he stated (via NME).

It’s just embarrassing to watch. OK, we were like 26, 27, but it’s like, ‘Really?’ Do we think this is funny? Do we think it’s well-written? Oh, my God, this is terrible.

Lizzo responds to South Park joke about her and Ozempic: “I really am that b***h”

One of the most acidic and controversial cartoons of recent years, South Park won a special, entitled South Park: The End of Obesityno Paramount+ on May 24, 2024, and made a joke about using Ozempic and the singer Lizzo.

It is worth remembering how the drug began to be widely used for weight loss. At a certain point in production, Eric Cartman plans to lose weight, but cannot buy the product due to lack of money. So, the doctor prescribes “Lizzo,” to coach him in body positivity so he can stop worrying about his weight.

“I want you to listen Lizzo five times a day and watch her videos before bed,” says the doctor character. “I’m afraid you’ll need to stay with Lizzo for the rest of her life.” After the release of the special, the singer of “About Damn Time” and “Good as Hell” reacted to the scene.

“Guys, my worst fear has come true. I was referenced in an episode of South Park,” joked the 36-year-old artist. As the scene unfolds and the treatment “Lizzo” is quoted, the singer appears shocked: “This is crazy!”

“I just feel like, damn, I’m really that b***h. I’m really that b***h,” she continued. “I’ve really shown the world how to love yourself and not give a f***, to the point where these men in Colorado know who I am and they put it in their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.”

I’m really that b***h and I show y’all how not to give a f*** and I’m gonna keep showing y’all how not to give a f***.
