But from 2008 to 2013 they were also offered a reboot of the original series 90210 Beverly Hills: The Next GenerationThis was notably worn by several cast members of the original series. But today, one of these members regrets for participating.
Jennie Garth Wished She Hadn’t Accepted the Reboot
Jennie Garth is one of the returning actresses in the reboot of Beverly Hills 90210. She played her character Kelly Taylor in this way. She recently recalled this experience during a panel. As reported by Peoplehe admitted ithe would have preferred not to return on reboot:
I wish I hadn’t. No offense intended. The producer was a friend of a friend and I remember him coming into my living room, asking me to sit down and pitching the show as the opportunity of a lifetime. He asked me to do it and at that point I didn’t know how to say no. But the people were very kind and I wish them the best.
If you don’t hold any grudges against the people who worked there 90210 Beverly Hills: The Next Generationand without giving any further reasons, Jennie Garth then states that she would have turned down the reboot if it had been offered to her today. But she did appear in several episodes of the first season, as well as several episodes of the second season.
The franchise will continue to expand
Many years after the end of Beverly Hills 90210the franchise launched by Darren Star’s series has continued to expand. As revealed last April, it is this time Melrose Place which will be entitled to its restart. With regard to 90210 Beverly Hills: The Next Generation, several stars from the original show will be making their return. Fans will be able to see the characters againAmanda Woodward, Sydney Andrews and Jo Reynoldsstill starring Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga. Other cast members from the original series may also return.
