22 years later, the sequel to 3 zeros arrived

Football fans still have to remember this. Even more so PSG fans, who in 2002 saw similar players RonaldinhoJay-Jay Okocha and Bernard Mendy star alongside Lorànt Deutsch as a fictional player named Tibor Kovacs. He was in 3 zeros (2002)football comedy by Fabien Onteniente who, after the World Cup Jet set (2000) and before that of Camping (2006) showed the belly of this very particular world. Because in addition to the players, the director also focused on the agents, eager to see their little prodigy explode to the highest levels. Gerard Lanvin and Samuel Le Bihan have thus shared the poster of the film, which has nevertheless attracted attention 1.2 million viewers in theaters.

More than 20 years later, while football has changed a lot, Fabien Onteniente will propose the sequel, 4 zeros. Originally scheduled for 2025, the feature film has finally been pushed to October 23. To prepare for this, distributor SND revealed the trailer (video on the front page of an article).

In these images we find Gérard Lanvin reprising his role asAlain Colonna. The latter has landed in Tahiti to enjoy his retirement. But here comes his sister Sylvie (Isabelle Nanty), who has rebuilt her life with José Pinto (Didier Bourdon), and whose son Manu (Paul Deby) dreams of discovering a new talent. The latter has his eye on Kidane (Mamadou Haïdara), a young prodigy who is already attracting the attention of other agents. That’s why Alain is called to the rescue, to help them confront DZ (Kaaris), a very influential agent. To do this, Alain will appeal to the “old generation” (like Guy Roux) and pass off José as the sports director of a club.

As in the first work, the capital club will be the primary target for the young player and his entourage. Fabien Onteniente has clearly been able to collaborate with PSG again since we can see several current players in full training. Other personalities from the world of football are already visible in these images, such as Paul Pogba. In addition to the athletes, the cast is completed by the actress and singer Shy’m and the Marseille videographer Mohamed Henni.

4 zeros will be discovered in the cinemas October 23rd.
