Nicolas Cage will be the hero of Spider-Black
The series Spider-Black is one of the stories that Sony is currently developing in its universe around Spider-Man. Based on the comics Black Spider-Manwill take place at New York in the 1930s. It will be centered on an elderly private investigatorwhich turns out to be also a superhero.

Another leaked image shows us this the cover of an edition of Daily trumpet (the famous newspaper of the Spider-Man universe, once directed by J. Jonah Jameson). The title of this edition is as follows: “Silvermane survives in his underwear!” » Which gives us an indication the potential main antagonist of the series.
Silvermane as the main villain?
Silvermane is one of the great villains of the Marvel Universe. Originally it is a Sicilian criminalnamed Silvio Manfredi. After expanding his criminal empire and notably collaborating with HYDRA, he suffered a serious injury that pushed him to turn into a cyborg. What gives it superhuman strength.
According to the title of Daily trumpet in the photo from the set of Spider-Noir, Silvermane is therefore expected to appear in the series. And he could be the main villain. If this is the case, should be played by Brendan Gleeson. Because the actor recently officially joined the series, and Variety understands that he has signed on to play the main antagonist.
Black Spider will have eight episodes. The series will be visible on Prime Video. The streaming service has not no release date announced yet.
