Adele announces rescheduled dates for her Las Vegas residency

Adele is ready to return to Las Vegas.

The superstar singer has revealed new dates for her Weekends With Adele Vegas residency, months after abruptly postponing opening shows the day before concerts began.

Priority access to the shows will be given to those who purchased tickets for Adele’s original residency date but returned them, with tickets on sale August 10th.

In a statement on her website and social media, Adele said: “Words cannot express how excited I am to finally be able to announce these postponed shows. I was very sad to have to cancel them.”

Pointing out that the original reason for the delay was that due to shipping delays and COVID-19, her show wasn’t ready, Adele added, “But after what seems like an eternity of figuring out the logistics of a show, I really want to do it. , and knowing that it can happen, I’m more excited than ever!”

He continued: “Now I know that for some of you this was a terrible decision on my part and I will always regret it, but I promise you it was the right one. Being with you in such an intimate space every week is what I crave the most and I will give you the best of me.”

Adele’s residency was announced in November, with shows originally scheduled to begin on January 21 and most Fridays and Saturdays at the Coliseum venue at Caesars Palace Hotel through April 16.

In her tearful announcement that her shows had been postponed, Adele said she and her team had been “up for 30 hours” trying to figure it out, but “time was running out.”

He continued: “I am very upset and very ashamed and I am sorry for whoever traveled again. I’m sorry. “

He said the dates will be rescheduled and that he will work to get the show “where it needs to be”.

“I’m sorry. It was impossible, we’ve faced so much and he’s just not ready.”

Earlier this month, Adele said in an interview with BBC Radio 4 that she did not regret putting off the shows, but understood that some people were upset.

“I really felt everyone’s disappointment and was devastated and scared that they would give up,” she said. “I thought I could put it together and make it work, but I couldn’t and I stand by that decision.”

He added: “I’m not going to do a show just because I have to, or because people are going to cut themselves, or because we’re going to lose a lot of money. I think the show is not good enough. “
