Rauw Alejandro presents the Puerto Rican perreo with “Lokera”

Does the Puerto Rican perreo exist? It exists. Yes Rauw Alejandro shows it in “Lokera”, his new single. And in which he worked with Lyanno and Brray.

After surprising his fans with “Te Felicito” (his hit duet with Shakira), Rauw returns to his roots with “Lokera”, a song in collaboration with Lyanno and Brray that evokes the very essence of the urban mystique that has flourished in recent years in Puerto Rico.

The theme is accompanied by a video filmed on the enchanted island and directed by Marlon Peña and Zorro.

In the clip, the three artists take part in a party where reggaeton rhythms rub shoulders with perreo, partying, the occasional fight and the debauchery of sensuality on the surface.

Cameras show the action up close, being an active part of the party, until the police arrive and the protagonists quickly disperse through the streets of San Juan.

“Lokera” shows a side of Rauw that is important to remember: a commitment to the most authentic aspects of his musical style and his love for Puerto Rico, the land from which he took his first steps.
