Curator of Transform Music takes Brazilian experience to the European Festival Association Atelier in Germany

The artist, researcher and curator Prando there was chosen to integrate the Atelier for Young Festival Managersinitiative of European Festivals Association (EFA) which brings together young cultural managers from various countries in an experience of training, exchange and reflection on the direction of festivals. The meeting will be held in November, in the city of Chemnitz, Germany.

With a trajectory that moves between academic research, musical creation and curatorship, Prank It has consolidated itself as one of the most original voices of its generation. As an artist, he explores homoerotic and affective narratives in compositions that mix references to pop and experimental music. As a curator, it is the creator of Transform Musicfestival with two editions and gained prominence on the national scene by proposing debates on criticism and music industry, promoting a show of music videos that maps LGBTQ+ artists and performing shows of names like JUP of the neighborhood, Nopran, Catto, Votu and Getúlio Abelha.

“The transforming music has always been born from the idea of ​​dialogue and articulation of different voices. Being in the studio means opening this dialogue to a global circuit, bringing what we have built in Brazil and bringing back new tools and collaborations,” he says Prank.
