When a series does well, it doesn’t take Netflix long to renew it. Especially if it just came out. The novelty aspect pushes viewers to be curious and the platform then plays along by immediately renewing the series.
Fans of espionage, action, thrillers and animation will therefore be delighted to learn that Netflix has just renewed Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. The latter was released this week, October 14th. The next day, it was already number one on Netflix UK. In the rest of the world, series produced by Ubisoft Film & Television have entered the Top 10 of streamers.

Good news then as we learn from Expiration that Netflix has given the green light for a season 2, just a day after the release of season 1. If the streaming giant has not yet revealed the figures related to its audience, we can assume that they are satisfactory judging by the position it occupies Splinter Cell: Deathwatch ranks in the world rankings.
As a result, Liev Schreiber, who voices Sam Fisher, will return to duty. The same goes for Derek Kolstad (to whom we owe John Wick) who created the series.
