after six the Lord of the Rings movie (including the Hobbit trilogy) in theaters for over 15 years, the world of JRR Tolkien arrives for the first time on the small screen with Amazon Prime Video very expensive series power rings. With the premiere of the first two episodes scheduled for Thursday, the first reviews for the new series are now available. The reactions are largely positive, but it looks like it could also divide viewers in general.

The series is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit Yes The Lord of the Rings, taking creative liberties beyond Tolkien’s text.
