Nintendo And Universal Pictures revealed today the first official poster of Super Mario Bros.the first animated film dedicated to the iconic plumber of the great N. This time it was also announced when the first trailer will be released, or Thursday 6 October 2022 on the occasion of the Nintendo Direct.
After years of gestation, plans for an animated Super Mario Bros. movie began to materialize in 2018, following the announcement of a partnership between Nintendo and Universal for the project. Illumination Entertainment, the animation studio behind, is also working on this project abomination to Me, Minions And sing.

In September 2021, Nintendo announced the voice cast for the Super Mario Bros. movie, which it has seen Chris Pratt in the role of the main character. Also includes the rest of the film’s voice cast Anya Taylor-Joy how Princess Peach, Charlie’s Day how Luigi, Jack Black how Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key how frog, Seth Rogen how Donkey Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson how Kamek, Fred Armisen how I’m grumpy And Sebastian Maniscalco how Spike. Mario’s original voice actor, Charles Martinetwill have a cameo in the film.
Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go!, Teen Titans Go! – The Movie) will direct the film, while the screenplay will be handled by Matthew Fogel (The Lego Movie 2 – A New Adventure and Minions 2 – How Gru Gets Despicable ). The film will be released in theaters worldwide on April 7, 2023.
