In the host country, same-sex marriage is prohibited by law – and punishments are severe.

Journalist Grant Wahl dies aged 48 while covering the World Cup

While covering the match between Argentina and Netherlands for the quarterfinals of world Cuplast Friday, the 9th, the American sports journalist Grant Wahl died in the Qatar🇧🇷 The cause is still unknown.

As a result, the journalist was detained, but released after 25 minutes, and received an apology from security and a representative of the fifa🇧🇷
