Whitney Leavitt, star of the Hulu reality series "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," has cut her hair into a bob, returning to the short style she wore during her first season on the show two years ago.
Leavitt shared the transformation in a video posted to Instagram on September 4. In the clip, she lip-synced audio from the HBO series "Euphoria," mouthing the lines "Sorry, I'm late. It's been such a crazy day. Hi. You look amazing." The video opens with Leavitt sitting in a salon chair with her long hair, then cuts to her fluffing out the newly cut bob.
The 33-year-old changed into a T-shirt reading "I'm Connor Leavitt's wife" for the transformation, a nod to her husband. She captioned the post with a callback to her original "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" look, writing, "she's backkkkkkkkkk!!!!!"
Reactions From Costars and Friends
The new haircut was a hit among Leavitt's famous friends. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi commented, "Bobs are so in." Leavitt's "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" costar Mikayla Matthews simply wrote, "AHHHHH," alongside a heart-eyes emoji.
From Bob to Long Hair and Back
Leavitt first appeared on "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" with a strawberry blonde bob, but she had ditched the short style by the show's second installment. Since then, she has experimented with different shades of blonde, brown and red, though she hadn't cut off much length until now.
Leavitt is a mother of three, sharing 6-year-old Sedona, 4-year-old Liam and 23-month-old Billy Gene with her husband of 10 years, Connor Leavitt. Her stylist, Cassadi Currier, met her in Utah for the cut.

Leavitt is also an alum of "Dancing With the Stars," the long-running ABC dance competition series, which took her to Los Angeles for filming. She also spent months in New York City starring in the Broadway musical "Chicago." Speaking on Danielle Fishel's podcast "Danielle With..." in November 2025, Leavitt explained why she loves getting her hair and makeup done in Utah specifically.
"I just feel like, in general, in Utah, there's this weird, you gotta be the best culture," Leavitt said. "I think it's with anything. I love the beauty industry there. I love anything. It's better in Utah. Getting my hair done, my makeup done, shopping, I just love it."
She acknowledged the downside of that mentality, saying, "There's pressure to be perfect and to always appear like you've got it all together," but still insisted, "Everything's better in Utah."
"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" follows a group of Utah women who built careers as social media content creators before the cameras turned toward their personal lives, including their marriages, faith and friendships within the MomTok circle.
