Álvaro de Luna Cancels San Fernando Bahía Sound Concert

Spanish singer Álvaro de Luna has cancelled his upcoming concert scheduled for Saturday, August 22 at Bahía Sound in San Fernando, Cádiz.

The artist announced the decision through a series of updates on his official Instagram account, explaining that the show could not take place due to circumstances beyond his control. He expressed regret at being unable to perform in San Fernando and offered his sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to fans planning to attend.

De Luna added that he remains confident he will see his audience again soon and sent his love to his followers. While specific technical details for the San Fernando cancellation were not detailed beyond unforeseen circumstances, concert organizers and touring artists frequently navigate challenges including adverse weather conditions, logistical breakdowns, supply failures, licensing delays, or low ticket sales.

Instagram statement and recent releases

The cancellation comes amid a busy period for the Sevillian singer, who recently debuted his single Llego Tarde, a track exploring second chances and the passage of time. De Luna first gained widespread recognition as the lead vocalist of the Spanish pop group Sinsinati before embarking on a successful solo career.

He consolidated his solo breakthrough with the hit single Juramento Eterno De Sal. His repertoire also features major solo releases such as Levantaremos Al Sol, the title track from his debut album, alongside early career highlights like Indios Y Vaqueros from his time with Sinsinati.

Return to the stage after UNO tour

Prior to his current project, De Luna completed his extensive UNO tour, which launched in late 2023 and concluded its final concert in October 2024. That international tour saw him perform across Italy, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico.

Following the conclusion of the UNO tour, fans waited approximately a year and a half for a new concert series. The singer announced his return to live performances in May 2026, kicking off his new tour on May 10 in Badalona, Catalonia.

Current festival dates and upcoming stops

Since launching the tour in Badalona, De Luna has performed across mainland Spain and the Canary Islands. His itinerary has included stops in Sevilla, León, Valencia, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Vigo, Madrid, Burgos, Marbella, and Albacete.

The scheduled concert in San Fernando, a city in the southern Spanish province of Cádiz, was set to be the next stop on his schedule before its cancellation. Audiences on this tour have heard live performances of recent popular singles including Dime Dónde Estás, alongside album hits like Todo Contigo.

De Luna has also drawn attention in the music community for his camaraderie with fellow Spanish artists. Alongside singer Nil Moliner, he recently offered public support to musician Dani Fernández following Fernández's clavicle surgery, with Fernández thanking them for acting as nurses during his recovery.

A notable feature of De Luna's current concert series is that every show completed so far has taken place as part of music festivals. Remaining confirmed stops on his schedule include Cuenca, Tenerife, Orihuela, Zaragoza, and Castellón. The artist confirmed that additional dates will be announced, though it remains unconfirmed whether future stops will feature festival appearances or standalone solo concerts, and whether the tour will expand internationally beyond the Iberian peninsula.
