Spanish television network Antena 3 led national audience ratings on Tuesday after securing a 12.6 percent average audience share across the day.

The channel beat its nearest competitors by 4.7 and 0.9 percentage points, taking first place in both the afternoon sobremesa block with an 18 percent share and prime time with 12.6 percent.

Antena 3 led Tuesday viewing with television's most-watched broadcasts for parent group Atresmedia.

Parent company Atresmedia emerged as the top broadcasting group of the day with a 24.9 percent screen share, standing 2.3 points ahead of its main rival despite operating one fewer channel. Atresmedia won every broadcast window from afternoon to late night, while also leading the commercial target demographic with 24.9 percent.

Atresmedia is one of Spain's primary commercial media groups. In Spanish broadcasting, the sobremesa slot following lunch and late evening prime time represent the two most critical audience windows for national networks.

News bulletins lead daytime viewing

Antena 3 Noticias 1, presented by Victoria Arnáu, finished as the overall most-watched television program of the day. The afternoon news bulletin drew an average of 1.8 million followers, a 21.5 percent share, and 2.6 million unique viewers, giving it margins of 13.1 and 8 percentage points over competing channels in its time slot.

The evening news bulletin, Antena 3 Noticias 2, led prime time news coverage under presenter Esther Vaquero. It recorded a 17.7 percent share, outperforming its main rivals by 10 and 4.9 percentage points while gathering an average of 1.4 million followers and 2 million unique viewers.

Game shows capture key afternoon slots

In daytime entertainment, game show La Ruleta de la Suerte continued its winning streak under hosts Jorge Fernández and Laura Moure. The show scored a 20.1 percent share, topping competitors by 12.5 and 7.7 percentage points, while drawing 1.4 million average followers and 2.6 million unique viewers. The program also recorded the golden minute, the single minute of television watched by the highest number of viewers during the day.

Afternoon game show Pasapalabra, hosted by Roberto Leal, led its time slot with an average of 1.3 million followers and an 18.8 percent share, placing 8.8 points ahead of rival offerings. More than 2.2 million unique viewers tuned in to the broadcast, with its final A la Z segment rising to a peak share of 22.4 percent.

Drama series and magazine shows top evening lineup

In fiction, Spanish drama series Sueños de libertad ranked among the five most-watched broadcasts of Tuesday, standing as the overall top-rated drama on television. The series posted its strongest audience performance since July 14, gathering 1.2 million average followers, 1.9 million unique viewers, and a 14.5 percent share to beat rival options by 8.2 and 3.4 percentage points.

Prime time drama En tierra lejana, which airs on Monday and Tuesday nights, led evening television as the night's most-watched program. The show registered an 11.8 percent share, up 1.2 points from the previous week, and attracted an average of 839,000 followers and 1.6 million unique viewers, finishing 5.9 and 1.5 percentage points ahead of competitors.

Earlier in the day, morning magazine show Espejo Público Verano, presented by Lorena García, led among private network competitors with an 11.1 percent share, 279,000 average followers, and 2 million unique viewers. Cooking show Cocina abierta de Karlos Arguiñano followed with an absolute leadership share of 15.5 percent, pulling in 767,000 followers and over 1.1 million unique viewers.

In the afternoon, magazine show YAS Verano, hosted by Pepa Romero, finished as the leading private magazine program with 650,000 followers and a 9.5 percent share. The show generated the highest total reach of Tuesday across all television broadcasts, attracting 2,891,000 unique viewers.
