Indonesian girls combine bright dresses with very bright (and beautiful!) traditional headdresses. And this means that no less expressive makeup is needed – so that the face is not “lost” among silk, metal, rhinestones and precious stones. Everything is used: skin whitening, traditional for Asia, with tone-on-tone means, thick “smoky”, false eyelashes, blush and eye-catching lipstick (most often pink, barbie, fuchsia or scarlet – to emphasize the contrast with the skin). And brides from this region love Instagram filters (the social network is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation). Well, who doesn’t love them now?

Ossetians prefer rather strict make-up, and at the same time they emphasize … eyebrows. Shape, color, curvature – it is simply impossible to tear yourself away from the face of the bride. At the same time, of course, girls do not forget about foundation, contouring, mascara, lipstick in nude or brownish tones. But it all looks neat and appropriate, emphasizing the girl’s natural beauty and the sophistication of her traditional attire: both the pearl-embroidered headdress and the stunningly beautiful dress that highlights the perfect waistline.

A colorful traditional costume (bright red or white as a priority) embroidered with embroidery and monists, a high headdress (instead of a veil) made of expensive fabrics, decorated with gold, silver and precious stones goes well with light and moderate makeup. See for yourself: it’s hard to understand whether the bride’s face shines with happiness or with a skillfully applied highlighter. I like !

In Abkhazia, girls prefer “Instagram” make-up, which not only looks so good in photos, but is also noticeable from afar. They also decorate the parting with red paint or special accessories, draw a red dot on the forehead and do not forget about the nose ring – an attribute of a married woman. Complete the image of eye makeup with thick eyelashes and lipstick (red, cherry, plum or shade of dusty rose). An interesting fact: before the wedding, special patterns, mehendi, are often painted with henna on the arms and legs, and it is believed that a girl should not work in her husband’s house until these patterns are completely washed.

Brevity and refined simplicity – this is how we can characterize the preferences of Australian brides. Elegant dresses, almost imperceptible make-up… Nothing superfluous, and at the same time the girls look chic – their image is carefully thought out to the smallest detail, and they are surrounded by a “suite”, that is- ie bridesmaids in the same dresses (it’s important!). Everything is very beautiful, elegant and very “European”.

In Namibia, as in many countries on the African continent, traditions are now strangely mixed with European influences. On the one hand, not everyone can do without a classic white dress (for us, of course) and light makeup, and on the other hand, egori, a bridal headdress made of skin goat, is still not forgotten. The preparation of gori usually takes a day: the skin is rubbed with a special natural composition of red ocher, resin and fat until it acquires a brown tint. Then all this is dried under the scorching sun and hoisted on the newlyweds.

In principle, we have already written about such makeup: “porcelain” skin, blush, lipstick and many, many, many eyelashes. But in Cambodia, girls pair it with more revealing, beaded and sequined outfits. It turns out to be very effective. Catchy!
