Cellulite has proven useful – from what a terrible disease it protects women

Many women are embarrassed by the presence of cellulite and spare no effort to get rid of it. But in fact, this feature of our body has a protective function – which we ourselves are unknowingly trying to destroy.

Every woman has cellulite. Its appearance cannot be avoided – although proper nutrition, exercises and cosmetics always help to make the body more aesthetic. For some, it appears even in the absence of excess weight. But experts urge not to view this as a curse. In fact, the “orange peel” has the most important function!

Recently, scientists from the University of Augusta in Georgia, USA, conducted a study in which it was found that women who are prone to more active accumulation of subcutaneous fat in the thighs and buttocks are less likely to suffer from dementia and strokes.

Scientists conducted an experiment on female mice. In individuals with a high fat content, which causes the appearance of cellulite, far fewer cases of brain inflammation were recorded than in other women. And when these mice underwent liposuction, levels of inflammation immediately increased.

The authors of the experiment believe that estrogen, a female hormone, which has a natural anti-inflammatory effect, is to blame for this result. Its level simply depends on the amount of subcutaneous fat in the body. It also explains the dramatic increase in dementia and strokes in women after menopause, when estrogen levels begin to drop.

It turns out that the weight loss process is not so helpful! Especially if during the period of weight loss and active sports you do not follow the diet and provide the body with the recommended norm of nutrients and microelements that affect the balance of hormones.
