Tapes have long won universal love – they are considered one of the most effective ways to get rid of wrinkles. Now with the help of tips it is also offered to lose weight. And also improve well-being and train the deep muscles of the body – and while sleeping at that time!

On social networks, the trend of nocturnal mouth tapping has spread. Thanks to him, girls would prevent the development of facial wrinkles, and also learn deep diaphragmatic breathing – which contributes to the burning of fat and the proper functioning of the body as a whole.

On TikTok, you can find tens of thousands of videos in which curious Internet users cover their mouths at night. What to say: against a background of popularization of the trend, brands have appeared specializing in the creation of specific teips for the oral area!

Meanwhile, doctors are seriously concerned about the negative results of such beauty experiments. The fact is that a large number of people suffer from certain respiratory disorders: from the curvature of the nasal septum, which occurs every second, to apnea – a sudden cessation of breathing during sleep.

We’re not claiming that breathing through your nose is really much more physiological and beneficial to the body. However, denying yourself the ability to breathe through your mouth at night, when you can’t control your body, is risky business.

Of course, death from respiratory arrest during sleep is the rarest exception. Much more likely to encounter other disorders: for example, with a breakdown due to intermittent breathing, headaches and general malaise. As you know, the likelihood of waking up fresh and beautiful is also reduced.

We are not proposing to put an end to the trending technique of TikTok. Plus, weaning from mouth breathing is really good for your health. It is better to do this when you are awake and stick adhesive tapes over your mouth, for example, for 30-60 minutes before going to bed.
