Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson may be brothers and don’t intend to take a DNA test; understand

Matthew McConaughey revealed that he may be the brother of Woody Harrelson. The actor, who already thought he resembled his friend’s physical resemblance, discovered that his mother and father Harrelson met and had contact when they were divorced.

The statement was made in an interview with the podcast We talk off cameraby Kelly Ripa. “In Greece a few years ago, we were sitting and talking about how close we are and also about our families. And my mom was there and she said, ‘Woody, I knew your dad.’ Everyone was aware of the reticence my mom left after she ‘knew.’ She was a heavy ‘knew,” she said.

The actors did some research, found documents and receipts that would indicate that McConaughey’s mother and Harrelson’s father may have been having an affair before the actor was born. Matteo, however, explained that he and his friend do not intend to carry out the DNA test.

“It’s a little easier for Woody to say, ‘Come on, let’s do this,’ because what does he have to do with it? It’s a little harder for me because he’s asking me to take a chance and say, ‘Wait, you’re trying to tell me that Could my dad not be my dad after 53 years of believing in it?’ I’m a little more at risk,’ he said.

Matthew and Woody will star in the series Step brotherfrom the AppleTV+. The production does not yet have a premiere date and the artists have not commented on whether the personal account inspired the new program.
