Rubinho Barrichello warns after his dog dies after eating 11 cigarette butts; watch the video

The former pilot announced the death of his pet on Instagram

Rubens Barrichello used the Instagram this Friday, the 23rd, to mourn the loss of his dog, Speedy. According to the former pilot, the Cavalier animal died after ingesting 11 cigarette butts.

In addition to sharing some special moments with his beloved pet, Barrichello also launched an appeal, asking people to be more careful when disposing of waste on the floor.

In the video, which you can see above, Barrichello explained the situation to his followers. “There are many who ask me what happened to Speedy, since he was not old and was about to turn 8. So I’ll tell you my version. I didn’t come here to say bad things about anyone or anything, but, with What is happened to me, I think it’s important so that it doesn’t happen to other people”, began the former driver.

And he continues: “Speedy is a Cavalier dog. And anyone who has a Cavalier knows that they are docile, but they are also hunters. So he always has something in his mouth. And that’s when it happened. In the palace where he lived, Palazzo di Silvana [Giaffone, ex-esposa do piloto]He was walking around a lot, waiting to get off to do his business.”

Barrichello then explained that he had noticed that the dog was starting to feel ill and decided to investigate with his ex-wife the last place where the little animal was. “When we saw it, there were a lot of cigarette butts and other types of stronger cigarettes in the region,” he explained.

He later explained that ingesting cigarette butts lacerated the animal’s stomach. “He developed a disease that no longer produced proteins for his body. He had 11 butts removed from inside him. And he could no longer eat. He had bloody diarrhea and got worse,” lamented Rubinho.

The former driver also took advantage of the moment to launch an appeal and warn of the importance of people being more careful about the waste they throw on the streets. He stressed that the issue is not just the cigarette butt itself, but the fact that the rubbish is there, stressing the need to dispose of the rubbish in the appropriate place.

“With dog poop we go there, pick it up and put it in a bag. So I think it would also be polite for people who have this habit [de fumar]he might have the same kind of attitude,” he concluded.
