Chris Martin stepped out in London wearing a cap reading "life rolls on," his first public appearance since his ex-girlfriend Dakota Johnson was linked to Machine Gun Kelly. The Coldplay frontman, 49, was seen leaving a meeting with his manager after the romance rumors broke.
Martin is the lead singer of the British rock band Coldplay, known for hits including "Yellow" and "Fix You." Johnson, 36, is an actress recognised for the "Fifty Shades" film series and the film "Materialists."
Johnson had most recently been dating musician Tucker Pillsbury, who performs as Role Model, before the pair reportedly split. She has since sparked speculation about a new relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, 36, whose real name is Colson Baker.
Johnson and Kelly were reportedly seen spending time together at the New York apartment of mutual friend Taylor Swift, before heading to a nearby hotel for an overnight stay. Johnson and Martin had been together for eight years before splitting last summer. She then dated Pillsbury for eight months before that relationship also ended.

According to Deuxmoi, Johnson was seen exiting a vehicle outside Swift's apartment before Kelly arrived, escorted in by Johnson's own security guard. The Daily Mail reached out to representatives for comment but had not received a response.
Swift herself was reportedly out of town during the hangout, according to TMZ. Johnson and Kelly are said to have first met at Swift's Madison Square Garden wedding to Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dakota Johnson's split from Role Model
The meeting came about one month after Johnson was reported to have split from Pillsbury, who is seven years her junior. A source told People the pair had "ended their relationship a while ago," despite a previous insider claim that the two were "very much on the same page" and that "it just feels easy" between them.
The pair were first photographed dining together in Los Angeles on 29 December. Johnson also made a cameo appearance on Pillsbury's newly released third studio album, "Chuck Timely & the Hourglass."
On the track "Love I You," Pillsbury is heard telling Johnson: "Hey, I think you're perfect." She replies, "You say that to everyone." "Okay, well, is it working?" he asks. "Yeah," Johnson says. "But don't tell anyone."

Pillsbury told Rolling Stone in August that including the exchange on the record amounted to him "publicly admitting the relationship," even though he had been hesitant about mixing his personal life with his music. "I think keeping those things separate is probably good," he said.
He said producer Mason Stoops was the one who persuaded Johnson to take part. "And then one day [producer Mason Stoops] convinced her, and I was just like, 'Yeah, let's try it.' And it was amazing. Her voice was perfect on it," he told the magazine.
"Obviously, yeah, you know that's gonna lead to discussions online, but also it made the song really special to me, and what a cool cameo to have... She did it in one try, too. It was very impressive," he added.
Machine Gun Kelly's relationship with Megan Fox
Machine Gun Kelly was previously in a relationship with actress Megan Fox for four and a half years. The couple welcomed a daughter, Saga, in March last year, four months after their relationship reportedly ended amid claims Kelly had been communicating with other women.
A source said in late last year that Fox, 40, had been impressed by "how he's stepped up for both her and the baby," fuelling speculation that the former couple could be finding their way back to each other.
In July, Fox used Instagram to fire back at her former partners after a user commented on one of her lingerie photoshoot posts: "This s*** is so unbelievably embarrassing for a 40 year old mom to be posting. 16 year old tumblr s***." Fox replied: "which one of my exes is this."
