Director Anton Maslov announced that his film Kolobok has received numerous positive reviews from young viewers. He noted that a large number of people have written to him and sent videos from movie screenings showing children expressing how much they enjoyed the picture.
Speaking to the Moskva City News Agency, Maslov said it is very important to make kind, real cinema and emphasized that the team made the film honestly. He added that viewers easily feel this honesty once they immerse themselves and empathize with the characters, noting that many children said they liked the movie and wanted to come back again.
Spider-Man release date dispute
However, not all audiences welcomed the new installment of the film with enthusiasm. Fans of the American movie Spider-Man: New Day criticized the film crew because the Russian fairy tale shifted the premiere date of the Spider-Man picture. Vechernyaya Moskva reported that the premiere of the family fairy tale subsequently became a subject of disputes and threats.
