Russian singer and composer Dmitry Malikov has made a public appearance alongside his eight-year-old son Mark at the official premiere of the fairytale feature film Tsarevna Nesmeyana.
The 56-year-old musician shared photographs and video footage captured at the cinematic event on his personal Instagram page shortly after attending the screening with his young child.
For the premiere event, Malikov chose a casual attire consisting of a black printed T-shirt worn underneath a leather jacket. His son was dressed in a white collared shirt combined with a black knitted sweater and a casual windbreaker.
Social Media Reactions
The red carpet appearance follows widespread attention online earlier in September, when fans on social media expressed admiration for the singer's physical appearance and fashion style. Commenters particularly noted his outfit comprising narrow tapered trousers, a crisp white T-shirt, and a knitted cardigan.
Images from the event were published on Instagram, which is owned by Meta Platforms. The technology company has been formally designated as an extremist organisation and prohibited from operating inside the Russian Federation.
Popular Musician and Folklore Cinema
Malikov is one of Russia's most recognized pop musicians and classical pianists, having risen to national prominence during the late 1980s. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has released numerous hit singles, composed instrumental works, and earned prestigious national honors for his contributions to music and performing arts.
The film Tsarevna Nesmeyana is an adaptation of a classic Slavic folk tale known as The Unsmiling Princess. The traditional story revolves around a royal princess who is incapable of laughter, leading her father the king to promise her hand in marriage to anyone who can bring a smile to her face.
The movie premiere marks one of the recent public outings for the musician and his son, whose updates on social media routinely draw significant interest from long-time fans of the artist.
