On May 16, the October Cinema Center hosted the premiere of Karen Shakhnazarov’s film Khitrovka. The Sign of Four. Adventure detective starring Konstantin Kryukov, Mikhail Porechenkov, Anfisa Chernykh, Alexander Oleshko and Evgeny Stychkin — is an original story inspired by the work of Arthur Conan Doyle, based on the works of Vladimir Gilyarovsky. The film tells about the investigation by theater director Konstantin Stanislavsky and gonzo reporter Vladimir Gilyarovsky of a mysterious murder in the legendary bandit Khitrovka at the beginning of the 20th century. The film will hit the big screens on May 18.
