Britney Spears was pulled over for speeding in California. In a video published this Tuesday, 31st, by TMZthe singer claimed she only exceeded the speed limit because she needed to use the bathroom.
The case occurred earlier this month. In addition to driving at high speed, the artist, stopped by the California Highway Patrol, crossed the double solid line on the road.
In the video, he tells the officer, “I’m sorry, I have to use the bathroom… you’re about to leave now. I’m sorry, my house is right there.”
According to TMZ, Britney was not cited for high-speed driving, but she did have to pay a fine of $327 (R$1,650, at current rates) for crossing the double solid line.
