Karina Banda has revealed that she is already “preparing to become a mother” and thus fulfill the dream she shares with her husband Carlos Ponce to have a child.
During the May 1 broadcast of the Desiguales program, the presenter broke down in tears while watching a video of the procedure she undergoes to freeze her eggs in order to conceive.
“I cried and cried. The truth is that I want to thank you all, because you were a very important part of this process, of my decision to become a mother,” she told her companions in the “show”.
Banda said she put off starting treatment to get pregnant “for a long time,” due to work projects.
However, she is now “taking a break from being a woman” and “going for that dream,” working non-stop and with the support of her home, Univision.
“Carlos, thank you for supporting me, for being the best husband, partner. I thank my mother, my little niece, my sister-in-law, to you who watch over me with prayers and messages,” he said with emotion.

In an interview with People en Español, published today Wednesday, Karina Banda gave more details about her process of becoming a mother.
“When I wanted to start looking for a baby I was 33 and you never think there will be complications. That’s when I realized my ovarian reserve was low for my age,” she recalls.
Because of this condition, her doctor advised the actress to freeze her eggs, which she did not immediately do.
Weeks ago, her doctor in Monterrey, Mexico, scheduled her to begin the procedure. After hesitating to make the trip since he lives in Miami, he finally made it.
“Today more than ever I am ready to be a mother. “I’m getting ready to be a mother,” she confessed. In March she began the process of freezing her eggs.
After dating for six years and marrying Carlos Ponce in 2022, Karina is excited to expand her family, which already includes her dogs Bruno, Aşk and Aspen.
“I really want to see Carlos with a stroller, with a bottle, chasing the baby, that makes me curious. “I’m excited to see him as a dad, but if it’s twins he already has experience,” she admitted.

Now that Karina Banda has announced that she is already looking to become a mother, Carlos Ponce, who is the father of Siena, Savannah, Sebastián and Giancarlo, expressed his feelings.
“The possibility of becoming a father excites me very much. I believe in God’s divine plan and if it is his will, I welcome him,” he told People en Español.
The actress assures that, although she will become a mother for the first time, she is prepared for this role: “I envision her equal to everything that characterizes her, tender, protective, understanding, strict but patient and very tender.”
Ponce supported Karina in her fertility treatment, so he even gave her some of the hormone injections she needs to receive.
