Last Tuesday, 55-year-old Dmitry Nagiyev attended the closed premiere of the new thriller “To the touch”, in which he played the main role. Note that especially for the film, the actor changed beyond recognition and completely got used to the image of the blind hermit Victor. Therefore, posing against the background of the poster of the picture in a traditionally stylish casual outfit, Nagiyev looked very unusual.
Initially, the role of a blind person involves a serious acting challenge and a way out of the comfort zone. I once told the Andreasyan brothers that I would like to play a blind man, and they got hooked on my idea, which eventually led to the script for the film “To the Touch,” Nagiyev said about the role. – Every time I tell myself that I want an easy walk, but it doesn’t work out that way. You connect and do your best for the result. I had to swim in icy water, fall from a tree myself, fight a wolf in a deep hole, and even eat the earth.
The director and screenwriter of the project was Anton Muss, and the film was produced by Ghevond and Sarik Andreasyan. The plot of “To the Touch” tells about Victor who has fled to a secluded country house and loses his sight due to a hunting accident. After that, the hero will have to survive in the wild forest and confront his own fears and loneliness.
In Russian cinemas, the film “To the Touch” is released tomorrow, December 1.
