Were you expecting wonders with the new autumn and winter 2022 collections of leading fashion houses? This year’s Dior collection will not disappoint you. From shoes to accessories, their collection is well thought out and makes sense. We customers love attention to detail and the Dior brand regularly allows us this experience.

The jewelry in this year’s R2W collection is the pinnacle of French jewelry. The name of the collection – D-Renaissance – testifies to everything. The large proportion of handwork is the biggest advantage of the entire collection. In addition, the production was inspired by the creative layering of lace-like materials. All this together proves the excellence and exclusivity that the Dior fashion house strives for.

An interesting section of footwear also appears in the collection. This year, Dior’s chief designer decided to reinvent what many consider to be a traditional component of his shoe cabinet. Maria Grazia Chiuri tried to connect the present and the past in her creation. She thus created classic lace-up shoes in a modern form in collaboration with D-air Lab, an Italian start-up founded in 2015 by Lino Daniese. The heel technology used with a bend at an unusual angle is also ingenious. However, the entire collection is again only in the details, with which the creative director pays tribute to the founder of the brand, Christian Dior. She let flowers bloom on her shoes, studded with small pearls. The designer breaks up the dreamy details with sporty belts that ingeniously fit the ankles.

With the collection, Dior not only claims its heritage, but draws on what customers expect from the fashion house and at the same time subverts those expectations by leaning away from tradition towards innovation and novelty. Thoughtful design and marketing move!
