Foo Fighters headline the opening night of Rock in Rio 2026 this Friday, September 4, closing a rock-focused bill on the festival's Palco Mundo stage. The band shares the day's lineup with Rise Against, The Hives and Nova Twins.
Foo Fighters are scheduled to take the stage at 12:05am, the final act of the night on the Palco Mundo. The rest of the day's bill on that stage runs Nova Twins at 4:40pm, The Hives at 7pm and Rise Against at 9:20pm.
What songs might Foo Fighters play
Foo Fighters have not announced the songs for their Rock in Rio set. But a look at their recent shows in the United States and Canada in August, gives a sense of what fans might hear.
CNN Brasil reviewed data from Setlist.fm, a site that logs the songs performed at recent concerts by bands from Brazil and abroad, and found that the band's setlists varied considerably from show to show last month. Even so, a number of songs came up repeatedly across those dates. The outlet noted that Foo Fighters could also add hits with particular appeal to Brazilian audiences that did not feature in the US and Canada shows.
Among the songs that appeared most often in the band's recent sets were:
- Times Like These
- All My Life
- The Pretender
- Rope
- Stacked Actors
- Walk
- My Hero
- Learn to Fly
- These Days
- This Is a Call
- No Son of Mine
- Wheels
- Marigold
- Big Me
- Under You
- Run
- La Dee Da
- The Sky Is a Neighborhood
- Aurora
- Best of You
- Exhausted
- Everlong
