Georgina Rodriguez has legally adopted the three oldest children of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo after completing official adoption paperwork in Portugal.
The Spanish influencer had previously been the legal mother of only two of their five children, Alana Martina and Bella. The older three children, Cristiano Junior and twins Eva and Mateo, were previously registered solely under the Portuguese sports star.
Portuguese media confirmed that the country's official registry now lists Rodriguez as the legal mother of all five children. The couple completed the secret adoption process in strict privacy, choosing not to discuss the paperwork publicly or make any formal announcement.
Rodriguez, a Spanish model and social media influencer, has been in a relationship with Ronaldo for a decade. She has raised all five children since the start of their romance and has long stated that she considers every child in their household to be her own.
Cristiano Junior was the first child born to Ronaldo, followed by twins Eva and Mateo, who arrived while Rodriguez was pregnant for the first time with Alana Martina. In 2022, Rodriguez became pregnant with twins Bella and Angel, though Angel died shortly before birth.
Secret wedding ceremony in Portugal
The adoption paperwork follows a quiet civil wedding ceremony held on August 11 in the living room of the couple's home in Cascais. The pair selected the date to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the day they first met at a Gucci store in Madrid.
International media had expected a massive celebrity event, dubbed the wedding of the century, with grand preparations for high-profile guests. Crowds of onlookers and reporters waited outside the church in Funchal and kept watch at luxury hotels, expecting a public celebration.
Instead, the couple opted for an intimate ceremony away from public attention. News of the marriage was confirmed only after they posted a single photograph showing their hands with wedding rings, with further details filtering out gradually.
Cascais is a luxury coastal resort town situated west of Lisbon, while Funchal is the capital of Portugal's autonomous Madeira archipelago, where Ronaldo was born and raised.
Prenuptial agreement and financial terms
Details have also emerged regarding the prenuptial agreement signed by the couple to establish financial terms in the event of a future separation. The agreement outlines a strict separation of assets to protect their respective business empires.
Under the terms of the agreement, Rodriguez would receive a lifetime monthly allowance of 100,000 euros if the marriage ends. The agreement also provides for the transfer of ownership of their family residence in La Finca, where the children would be raised.
La Finca is an exclusive gated residential estate in Pozuelo de Alarcon, near Madrid. Ronaldo, who currently plays as a forward for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr and captains the Portugal national team, spent nine years playing for Real Madrid, acquiring real estate across Spain and Portugal.
Plans for future children
Asked whether he would consider becoming a father again in the future, Ronaldo responded with a mysterious comment, stating that one should never say never.
Rodriguez acknowledged that adding another baby to their household right now would be too chaotic. However, she did not rule out another pregnancy in the future, noting that when their youngest children reach 15 or 16 years old, she and Ronaldo will still be young enough to have another child.
