St Kilda footballer Jack Silvagni and his wife Grace Phillips have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Annabel.
The 28-year-old Australian rules footballer and his wife introduced their newborn daughter to the world in an announcement shared on Instagram over the weekend.
The sweet images posted online were accompanied by a simple caption revealing the newborn's name as Annabel. Further photographs showed the little girl cuddling up to her big brother, two-year-old Charlie.
Jack and Grace were married in 2023 in Noosa, a resort town on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. The couple welcomed their first child the following year in September 2024.
Charlie was born on the night of the Brownlow Medal, the Australian Football League's most prestigious individual award presented annually to the fairest and best player of the season. At the time of his son's birth, Silvagni posted on social media: "Grace Silvagni you are amazing and our boy is so lucky to have you as his mum."
Earlier this year, the pair announced that they were expecting their second child. Grace posted a photograph on Instagram displaying her baby bump as Charlie reached towards her stomach, adding the caption: "Charlie waiting for his mate."
Silvagni AFL Career and Footballing Dynasty
Silvagni is a prominent figure in Australian rules football, having played 128 AFL games across nine seasons with the Carlton Football Club before making his move to St Kilda. St Kilda, based in Melbourne, competes in the top tier professional Australian Football League.
He comes from one of Australian sport's most famous dynasties. He is the son of Carlton football legend Stephen Silvagni and television presenter Jo Silvagni. Stephen Silvagni played over 300 games for Carlton, won two premierships, and was selected as full-back in the AFL Team of the Century. Jo Silvagni became a household name across Australia as a television personality and host on Sale of the Century.
Brother Tom Silvagni Conviction and Appeal
The arrival of baby Annabel brings joy to the couple following a difficult period for the broader Silvagni family.
Jack's brother, Tom Silvagni, was convicted by a Victorian jury on December 5, 2025, on two counts of rape following a trial in the County Court of Victoria, the principal trial court in the state.
Judge Greg Lyon sentenced Tom Silvagni to six years and two months of imprisonment, ordering that he serve a non-parole period of three years and three months before becoming eligible for release.
The court heard that the offences stemmed from an incident in January 2024 involving a woman known in proceedings as Ms T. The prosecution case relied on evidence that included deceptive conduct, an altered Uber receipt, and a recorded pretext phone call.
Tom Silvagni has lodged an appeal against his convictions. Throughout the legal proceedings, Jack Silvagni has continued his professional career in the AFL, recently launching a new chapter with St Kilda.
