James and Florence Cameron, both 78 years old, have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in the United Kingdom. The couple shared their story with local newspaper The Inverness Courier.

To celebrate the milestone, the elderly couple went out for lunch together before holding a party with their family. Florence Cameron said that the day went wonderfully.
When discussing the secret to their long marriage, she named patience. She added that the patience was likely required more on James's side than on her own. James Cameron agreed with his wife and joked that he would like to get a medal for it.
Family Across the World
James and Florence Cameron first met through mutual friends. They now have four children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren living across the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
Earlier, 99-year-old Kermit and Betty Eastman from the United States celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary. According to the couple, the secret to their long marriage is simple, as they still love each other.
