Actress Kristen Stewart said collaborating with her wife Dylan Meyer on set for the film The Wrong Girls was a very fun experience. Speaking to E! News, the 36-year-old actress shared details about working under Meyer's direction in what marks Meyer's first feature film as a director.
Stewart expressed admiration for the way the 38-year-old filmmaker managed the cast and crew during production. Stewart said that Meyer possessed a special approach to choosing people to surround a project she cared about deeply.
According to Stewart, a filmmaker must find collaborators who love the work equally, because while a project initially belongs to the director, it must eventually be passed on to others. She noted that Meyer had a gentle ability to tell team members that the work was theirs.
