Producer Pavel Rudchenko said Russian singer Larisa Dolina could build a new audience of sympathetic listeners as she enters a new creative stage. Speaking to the National News Service, the media manager assessed the future career prospects of the People's Artist of Russia.
Career Challenges and Repertoire Change
Rudchenko suggested that Dolina attempt to win over sympathetic viewers, noting that performers such as Olga Buzova and Tatyana Bulanova have previously used similar themes. However, he described Dolina's current career situation as complex because many listeners do not believe her actions.
The producer added that a new generation of performers is unlikely to collaborate with Dolina because younger artists have a different orientation. Dolina previously announced a change in her repertoire following what she called the scariest period of her life, stating that she will now perform love songs that are less heavy.
