Ingredients:
- 700 g of beef or chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon of warm water
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon(s) of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) of black pepper
- 4 pita bread
- 20 cherry tomatoes
- 1 lettuce
- 1 cucumber
- 2 red onions
- salt to taste
Method of preparation:
- First, dissolve the cumin, garlic powder, turmeric, sugar, salt and black pepper in warm water.
- Cut the meat of your choice into thin strips and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Mix the meat with the spices, cover with plastic wrap and leave to marinate for 24 hours.
- To start the preparation, wash the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and onions very well and cut everything into thin slices.
- Then, in a non-stick pan, cook the meat with the oil without the sauce in which you marinated it.
- Divide the buns in half and place them in a skillet (with the inside side down) until puffy.
