Ingredients: Blender Savory Cake (cheese):

– 4 units of eggs – medium

– 1 cup(s) of milk

– 200 g of chopped ricotta (or fresh Minas cheese)

– 80 ml of olive oil + a little for greasing

– 1 cup(s) wheat flour, sifted

– pepper to taste

– Salt to taste

– 2 tablespoons of parmesan

– 1 teaspoon(s) of chemical yeast

Ingredients TO COMPLETE:

– buffalo mozzarella to taste, sliced ​​or grated

– parmesan to taste, grated

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. Grease the refractories with olive oil.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  4. Break the ricotta or white cheese into smaller pieces.
  5. Grate the parmesan if you didn’t buy it grated. Measure the amount you will use for the recipe and reserve a little extra for finishing.
  6. To finish, slice or grate the buffalo mozzarella.
  7. Sift the wheat flour and yeast into a bowl.

PREPARATION:

Savory Cake Blender (cheese):

  1. Place in the blender: eggs, milk, olive oil, ricotta or white cheese, grated parmesan (optional), salt and pepper.
  2. Blend until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
  3. If your blender does not have good power, transfer the mixture into a bowl.
  4. Add the sifted wheat flour and yeast and mix/beat to incorporate all the ingredients.

Savory Blender Cake (cheese):

  1. Transfer the cake batter to the greased pan(s).
  2. Cover the cake with sliced ​​buffalo mozzarella and sprinkle a little parmesan.
  3. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C and cook for approximately 15-20 minutes for individual portions or 30-40 minutes in larger refractory dishes – time may vary, so monitor.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Remove refractory materials with your blended savory cake (cheese) from the oven.
  2. Slice and serve as a side dish or main course.
