‘I wanted to do the impossible’: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s crazy life in Netflix documentary

Professional athlete, Mr. Universe, movie star, politician… Arnold Schwarzenegger has played many roles in his life, in front of and behind the camera. This extraordinary journey was worthy of a documentary, which is expected to be released on Netflix on June 7.

Soberly titled Arnold, the series follows the fate of one of the most famous men on the planet in three episodes. From his childhood in Austria to bodybuilding, not to mention his film career, the documentary promises to be a comprehensive examination of his life.

The trailer released by Netflix – and already viewed more than a million times – shows the main interested party in front of the camera, crammed with many movie clips (Terminator, Conan, True Lies…) and reconstructing his past.

Running a rich career like Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t come without sacrifices. The documentary series also explores this intimate part of the actor’s life, which is revealed for the first time.
