Brazil’s oil and gas production fell 12.1% in April from March, to 3.5 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, according to data published on the website of the industry regulatory agency, l ‘ANP.
Considering exclusive oil production, the country recorded a 13.48% reduction in April compared to the previous month, to 2.695 million barrels/day.
The total produced, including gas, is also down on an annual basis. As of April 2022, the country had produced 3.86 million barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Brazil posted a record monthly oil and gas production in February, exceeding 4.18 million barrels of oil equivalent per day.
