A Eve Air Mobility (Eve) and the embrace announced this Thursday 20, that the first factory for the production of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, the “Flying car”, by Eve will be located in the city of Taubaté, in the hinterland of São Paulo. The industrial plant will be built on an area to be expanded within the Embraer unit of the city and is subject to final approval by the authorities.
“This decision is in line with our strategic growth plan based on innovation and sustainability,” said Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer. “We believe in the enormous potential of the global urban air mobility market and we strengthen our commitment to Eve as one of the leading companies in this sector.”
