Tomorrow Belongs to Us: What’s in store for Monday 23 October 2023 Episode 1540 [SPOILERS]

Bart is the victim of a terrible accident

After Adele’s questionable testimony, Bart spent the night in a cell. At dawn, the young man is questioned once again by Captain Jacob. Bart then sticks to his version of the facts, insisting that he was driving when Fabio was killed. Although he no longer remembers the route, he does remember passing a woman with a fox terrier on her way home.

If Manon and Nordin’s research turned up nothing, Damien and Roxanne called every veterinary clinic in Sette, Montpellier, and Ballaru. Eventually, they find the owner of the fox terrier, who confirms Bart’s alibi.

In turn, Adele goes to the spoon. Worried, Mona and Audrey immediately seek news from Bart, but the young woman has none. During the discussion, Adele implies that Bart could have killed Fabio. According to him, sometimes he gets angry and this week even scared him.

In the afternoon, Bart acquits himself and leaves the police station free. Adele joins him at the exit of the facility and wraps her arms around him. Although he tries to figure out if he really thinks he could have killed Fabio, he admits that he had his doubts, but now says that he is sure that he would never have done it. Unfortunately, Bart doesn’t believe him and begs him to stop.

Later, Adele slams on the brakes of Bart’s car.

Meanwhile, Bart finds refuge with Sarah and Roxanne, who agree to welcome him for however long it takes. A young man who has to go to see a supplier drives his car at the end of the day. The brakes no longer work, he narrowly avoids the car, but the car unfortunately falls into the sea…

Francois and Soizik kiss

At breakfast, Charlie suggests Francois go to Spain for the weekend. They had the opportunity to visit Allen. An attention that greatly concerns Francois, who immediately accepts.

In turn, Soizic tells Benjamin that he has confessed his feelings to Francois. Although the latter is happy with Charlie, Dr. Vernet can’t help but hope. Benjamin still advises him to let it go and move on. However, Soizic cannot do this.

Later, François arrives at the hospital to have a little discussion with Soizic. In fact, he really didn’t appreciate it when his ex came home unexpectedly. Angry, he reminds her that she no longer lives alone and that now she will have to let him know every time she wants to see him to talk to him. With a heavy heart, he also takes the opportunity to come clean with her.

Indeed, François makes her realize that she has moved on too long and is not going to jeopardize her relationship with Charlie. He also specifies that it is with him that he shares everything and tries to build something. So he asks her to stop sowing trouble in her head.

Soizic, who was silent before, notices that her ex-husband is still asking questions. An annoyed French teacher then takes him to a hospital room to continue this discussion.

“What do you believe? How easy is it for me? That you can come and throw your feelings in my face like that? Do you think I haven’t done anything wrong?” he declares. Soizic tries to tell him that if he goes back, he will, but François cuts him off.

The tension is so palpable between Francois and Soizic that the latter ends it with a kiss. In turn, François kisses her passionately…

Tristan and Gilles accept the challenge

After eating so much barbecue, Gilles is afraid that he will get tired. As the evening begins to cool, he wants to prepare beef bourguignon, a traditional and comforting dish. While he prides himself on making the best in the entire north, this dish is unfortunately Tristan’s signature dish. To determine which of them does the best, Gilles and Tristan start a little cooking battle.

After a full day of preparation, Gilles and Tristan go to the Delcours house for a blind tasting. And it’s the jelly dish that wins the judges’ favor, much to the chagrin of Tristan, who turns out to be a sore loser. To avoid an argument, Alex and Sylvain end up making them believe that they were wrong in their calculations and that they are both winners.
