The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has finally announced a launch date for its streaming service: NASA+. Officially announced in July this year, the service, which will be free and without advertising, will arrive on the main platforms next week: November 8th.
Still without many details, the streaming contents are accessible both on mobile phones and tablets via the NASA app, and on other platforms such as Apple TV and Fire TV.
It will also be possible to access the agency’s official website, specifically designed to support streaming: it was developed to offer the same experience, whether on a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Smart TVs will also have access.

There is not much information on the content, however, according to Engadget, NASA explained that its programming will be “incorporate you into our missions” with live coverage and original video series. In short, NASA Plus aims to “better to tell the stories of how the agency explores the unknown”.
It’s worth mentioning that NASA already has its own broadcast network called NASA TV – the new streaming service appears to come as an expansion of the channel.
