It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Monday 8th January 2024 Episode 834 [SPOILERS]

On Monday, January 8, everything starts here…

Clotilda pushes Leroy

In the middle of a cooking session, Clotilde deliberately ignores Mark’s call, even though they slept together the day before. Leroy eventually finds her. If he is too enthusiastic, Clotilde is much further away. In fact, he explains that their relationship will not go any further. Mark, who expected the opposite, is disappointed. Clotilda then maintains a very professional demeanor and talks to him about the recipes she made for the big cold test the next day. But Mark no longer has the strength to work and leaves.

In Double A, Clotilde tells Rose what happened between her and Mark. He feels guilty, he has the impression that he lied to Joakim, from whom he is still waiting for news. Rose calms him down by pointing out that there are no breakup instructions.

Clotilda then goes to the amphitheater to inform the students about the topic of the next exam. The rug is pulled out from under him by Leroy, who arrives a little late and announces that their ordeal won’t be the big cold, but something else. The only clue he gives them is the word “height”. Clotilde, very surprised by this change of situation, finds it difficult to hide her emotion.

In the corridor, Lionel, Jasmine and Penelope also share their impression of Clotilde’s attitude, who seems angry with Mark. Thibault is surprised to see that his father and chef Armand are very close. He adds that they spent almost the whole night preparing for the next exam. It doesn’t take much for Lionel to believe that Clotilde and Leroy are sleeping together.

In turn, Clotilde criticizes Leroy for not telling her about his plans. She accuses him of revenge because she doesn’t want to go any further with him. Leroy claims that he wanted to tell her about the new idea in the morning, but he didn’t get a chance to because she completely rejected him.

Meanwhile, Judy meets David in the dressing room. He immediately notices that he is not well and worries about him. But David can’t stand what she said. He starts to act aggressively and violently pushes her back. Lionel arrives in time to separate them and prevent their argument from degenerating into a fight.

Later, Joachim returns to the institute to regain his position. He then goes to the studio where Penelope is cooking. He apologizes for leaving like a thief and explains that he needed to clear his head. He admits that he realized that he could live without children, but not without Clotilda. Penelope then reveals to Joachim the rumors of an affair between Leroy and Chef Armand…

Laetitia is freed

At the park, Leticia tells Kelly what she discovered with Billy the other day. They were always wrong because Stanislaus doesn’t go with Maya. However, he visits a comatose little girl named Maya Daguet. As Kelly advises her mother to drop the matter, Laetitia can’t help but wonder what connection this little girl has with Butler.

At Double A, Letitia and Billy apologize to Stanislas and admit their mistakes. Butler warns them that they will suffer the consequences of their actions if they continue to interfere in his personal life. Laetitia and Billy promise not to do it again.

At the end of the service, Tom questions Billy and Letitia about what they found. If her lover refuses to talk about it, Laetitia invents a lie: she says that Stanislaus has been on a date with a middle-aged girl, also named Maya. But Stanislas listens to him and immediately calls order. He finishes training in Double A.

Laetitia meets Stanislas outside to explain the situation, but he doesn’t want to hear anything. She knew he was unreliable and was tired of giving him second chances. This time he was definitely released.

Claire has good news for Louis

At the park, Solal talks to Olivia and Claire. After hearing about the historic cooking class that Chef Guinot taught in the early years, Solal hopes to have the same type of class. But Claire says she has other things planned.

At the workshop, Claire has her second-year students work on one of her creations: a rather complex land-sea dish that requires several techniques. Ethan and Solal are super motivated. Rather than handing out technical sheets, Claire suggests making the recipe together step-by-step using her notebook notes. He is suddenly interrupted by a message from Louis’ lawyer, who asks him to call her immediately.

Claire goes out to call him and completely forgets about class. As she leaves for the workshop, Olivia returns to her classroom. A little later, he finds his companion in one of the corridors. Claire shares the good news with him: Louis can be released from prison under court supervision while he awaits trial. However, Claire must provide certain safeguards, starting with the employment contract. She admits to Olivia that she hopes Louis will return to the institute as a teacher.
