Freakier Friday, which does not yet have a title in Portuguese, is scheduled to hit theaters in 2025, but does not yet have a release date.
After Jamie Lee Curtis celebrate the last days of filming Freaky Friday 2 (Freakier Fridayin the original), the long-awaited sequel to the 2003 film, it was time for Lindsay Lohan talk about the production of Disney’s latest release, which will premiere in 2025.

What we already know about Freaky Friday 2?
In the first film, we meet Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Anna (Lindsay Lohan), mother and daughter, who lived in conflict due to their differences. In one of their countless fights, they end up exchanging their bodies and, now, they need to learn to deal with each other’s lives – and understand each other’s complaints – in the midst of preparations for their wedding. While we can expect a new change of bodies, the story of Freaky Friday 2 is being kept secret for now. What we already know is that Elyse Hollander (The Blacklist) was hired to write the script for the second film. The director Nisha Ganatra (Transparent), in turn, will be responsible for getting it off the ground.

According to information from Varietyin addition to Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, Chad Michael Murray (Jake), Mark Harmon (Ryan), Christina Vidal Mitchell (Maddie), Haley Hudson (Peg), Stephen Tobolowsky (Mr. Bates), Rosalind Chao (Pei-pei) and Lucille Soong (Pei-Pei’s mother), from the first film, will also be in the sequel.
In addition to the veterans, Julia Butters (The Fabelmans),Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Red: Growing Up is a Beast) and Sophia Hammons (Love in the Heights) are also in the cast of Freaky Friday 2.

A premiere date of Freaky Friday 2 has not yet been revealed, but Disney has confirmed that the film will hit theaters — and not directly on Disney+ — in 2025. Check it out:
