Jeff Baenadirector and husband of the actress Aubrey Square (The White Lotus, Megalopolis), died last Friday, 3 years old, at the age of 47.
According to TMZ, the body of the director and screenwriter was found by police in his home after a call from his assistant. According to the vehicle, police say he died by suicide.
Born in Los Angeles, Baena became known in the arts world for the independent comedies he directed, such as Life after Bethhis film debut. He directed four other films, including Joshy, 2016; The comedy of sins2017; Between reality2020; AND A love in Italy2022.
He also co-wrote the screenplay for Huckabees: Life is a comedya film by David O. Russell released in 2004.
In 2021, Baena married Aubrey Plaza, with whom she has worked on many of her films. The couple had no children.
