On Thursday, September 8, 2022, TF1 continues to air the first season of the mini-series Aim for the heart. Last week, the Channel One community discovered this new detective fiction, hosted by the duo Claire Keim and Lanick Gothrie. The first two episodes also averaged 3.65 million viewers.
The two actors respectively play Julie Scola, a courageous police captain, and Novak Lisica, a charming criminal lawyer whose reports are absolutely not good. Once madly in love, they no longer speak to each other at all. 20 years ago, a tragedy struck their couple… but what is it?
Trying to somehow turn the page after their painful breakup, their paths cross again when Novak leaves the law firm he works for to become a commissioner… at the same police station Julia works for!
Between yesterday and today, our heroes, damaged by life, investigate difficult cases together, and the ghosts of their shared past gradually reappear…
As she told AlloCiné during our interview, this role was one of the challenges for Claire Keim. Indeed, the latter found it difficult to play this hero in the hands of his inner demons, apart from the former. In order to recreate this tension as best as possible, he explained that he voluntarily avoided himself during the shooting of Lanik Guthrie’s film “Aim for the heart”.
“I, who likes to joke around on set and be a little elf who makes fun of everyone, I couldn’t, I didn’t have time for that, Claire Keim recalls. I had to stay very focused. I had to keep my distance from Lanik, because we know each other well, we are close, it is easy between us.
But then I had to stay away from him. Let there be a form of tension, let it be palpable. That makes the audience wonder “What’s the problem? What happened between these two?’”
On the other hand, Lanik Guthrie in the columns of Télé Star magazine confirmed the need to establish distance between him and his partner. However, he also does not hide that intrigues sometimes succeeded in reality: “This antagonism is part of the plot and one might think that the roles have gone a little overboard…“
