Boca Juniors ‘cross’ and Valdez may not close with Cuzeiro

The defender was expected in Belo Horizonte on Monday 16 January, but his destination must be Buenos Aires

Paraguayan defender Bruno Valdez, 30, is no longer expected to be a Cruzeiro player in the 2023 season. The player, who had also said he would go to play for Raposa, is eligible to play for Boca Jrs-ARG.

The defender was expected in Belo Horizonte this morning of Monday the 16th, but his destination should be the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.

Boca “crossed” the negotiation and made an economic offer higher than that of the Minas Gerais team. Thus, Valdez, who recently left America of Mexico and had also said he was “close” to Raposa, should wear the shirt of the Xeneize club.
