Festival marks the return of the NX Zero group; among the Brazilians, the lineup will have from Planet Hemp to Natiruts
The name of the festival expresses all the intentions: MITA is the acronym of Music Is The Answer, or music is the answer. What? To all kinds of genres and segments, ignoring artistic boundaries. So it will be on May 27 and 28, in Rio, and on June 3 and 4, in Sao Paulo, where the line up that goes from Marte Volta to Lana del Rey will perform in the second edition of the festival.
MITA is a daytime party, with a diverse program capable of uniting audiences of different generations. The shows will be divided into two stages, with more than 16 attractions between the two days, in spaces where the public will also have a series of activations.
Among the highlights of the national programming is the return to the stage of NX Zero, after a seven-year break. Another highlight of the program are the meetings, such as Djonga inviting BK and Planet Hemp with Tropkillaz.
In the year that celebrates 50 years of the acclaimed album by Arthur Verocai, a Brazilian musician and conductor who has performed with the biggest names in MPB, the public will be able to witness an unforgettable encounter on stage in Rio de Janeiro: Verocai and the young Canadians of BadBadNotGood.
In Rio, the festival takes place at the Jockey Clube, in the open area known as Pião do Prado, with a total of 110,000 m2. The space has a privileged view of Christ the Redeemer and is located next to the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.
In São Paulo, MITA takes place in the heart of the city, in the Anhangabaú Valley. The region has been under new management since December 2021, completely renovated.
