New artist alert: Be-Atrz

Be-Atrz is a singer, songwriter and producer. Influenced by R&B, Soul, Neo-soul and Afrobeat. Born and raised in the capital of São Paulo, more precisely in the Patriarca region, a neighborhood east of the city.

At age 8, Be-Atrz played his first chord, developing a sense of identity that fuels his art to this day. His first contact with music was in church. In 2022 he produced the song “Lençóis Remix” from Luedji Luna’s album “Bom Even É Estar De Baixo D’Água Deluxe”.

“I hope I can convey what I feel when I see a black woman producing her own music, it’s something strong, it brings a lot of representation, it’s what I’m about and fighting for more women in the scene.” Yoùn, Hodari, Melly, Sango and Luedji Luna are names that stand out in the artist’s panorama of references.
